Last month, my boyfriend Michael and I took a road trip across the United States to the mystical land of New Orleans, something most think they can’t do until they are older or retired. We didn’t want to wait. So we packed up our car and headed east, leaving behind the warmth and comfort of our home in Southern California.
The thing about travel is people wait. They wait until they have that big house or hefty bank account to do the things they want to do, like to explore unknown territory. I say you can do it all, it just takes courage, a little bit of patience and a strong desire for adventure. Can’t travel the entire world right now? Well, how about your own backyard? I found that you don’t need to go very far to see something great and beautiful.

Fury mates we found somewhere in the middle of Texas. It felt good to see a friendly face.

The stunning lands of Sonoita, Arizona. This ended up being our favorite stop on the trip. It was so still and beautiful.
There are mystery lights in Marfa, Texas. We never saw any but I bet they’re there and I’m sure very mysterious.
