Nouvelle Vague’s first event, in collaboration with Niyama Yoga and Shawinigan Surf Co was on November 17th, and it was very, very good.
It was a delight to see the surf community of Shawinigan, Trois-Rivieres and Montreal get together to celebrate Nathan Oldfield’s latest film, The Church of the Open Sky, as well as Les Ateliers Baume’s documentary, Berim.
Good beverages from Quetzal Kombucha and Microbrasserie Le Trou du Diable, good food from Tous les Jours Dimanche and Bounce Canada, awesome space provided by Ora Boutique, rad contests from Hi5, Shaper Studios and June Swimwears and great coverage by Cyclopes Photographie and RS Media. We couldn’t be happier—actually, we’re still in awe while writing this. The party was simply awesome and we’re looking forward to the next one!
