I shot this series a few months ago, right before the summer season started. Jeremie and I head down to La Vague à Guy for a nice morning session before starting a busy work day. For a very long time, I’ve wanted to create a special blackAn archaic term for Black. In some African countries, colour... More and white series of river surfing and with the pretty overcast weather, it was the perfect opportunity to make my vision become reality.
In spring, I had the honour to meet my idol, Chris Burkard, which led us to a conversation where he told me that it never gets old to photograph the same location over and over again. The same spot, a new vibe—that’s what photography should be all about.
