Another time, Oregon

This moment right here (see picture below) makes up for all of the nonsense of the previous day.

Originally, I would be in Oregon shooting the coast and getting some epic surf shots in, but with all the oversold flights, long desperate hours and the sighs of desperation, Oregon seemed unreachable. Like a Child dreaming about going to Narnia.

We finally made it on a Vancouver flight and decided to discover the beauties of BC instead.

Not going to lie, I was pretty bummed out.

Bummed about how I wanted to shoot some west coast surfing so bad.

Losing one day of traveling already we weren’t able to make it to Tofino.

I could have just decided to go back home and feel depressed and sorry for myself, but that’s not the right way to think.

Sometimes things don’t always work out to plan. That’s why it’s called adventure. You can’t do anything about it, so instead of feeling sorry, see the bright side of it.

Ditched the coast for the mountains and set off to Joffre Lakes, and I didn’t regret it one bit.

Breathing in the fresh air and just staring at its beauty.

And now here we are, standing in front of this massive beautiful glacier mountain.

It reminded me of how lucky we are to be able to call this planet our home. To be able to be a part of nature’s natural wonders.

All my sad thoughts vanished and were replaced by love and relief.

I live for these moments.
